On 9/4/17 I placed an order for a $1,750 Warn 12 Zeon Platinum Winch from Summit Racing in the evening and paid for Overnight shipping. My credit card sent me a "fraud" alert to my phone ..
which I had to reply "Yes" to approve .. and re-run the card. So I replied to the order email with a screenshot showing the "approved transaction." On 9/5/2017 at 9AM Since I really needed the winch the next day, which is why I paid for overnight shipping on a 100+ lbs item.... I called that morning first thing to confirm the order was received and that the card could be re-run.
They said it was good to go and they would ship that day. At 4:30-5:00 PM, I called into Summit because I had not received shipping confirmation yet and I was concerned it was not going to ship out on time...... and I had to be transferred to your verification department ... who told me they would call me back.
30-45 min later (around 6PM) she called back and said the order was released. Surprisingly enough, my package did NOT arrive on time. Because Summit did not ship it on time. It was shipped FEDEX PRIORITY OVERNIGHT, which Is Next-business-day delivery by 10:30 a.m.
The package LANDED in Fort Lauderdale Airport at 5:10 PM that day … instead of being delivered to me by 10:30 AM. I have an APP that notifies of my tracking numbers. When I noticed it landed it Fort Lauderdale, I called my local Fedex delivery guy... (whom I know very well since I own a business and ship packages every day) ...
and with his help, pulled some favors with Fedex and went to pick it up at the airport terminal, which would normally not even be an option.. My delivery driver made a big fuss and waited over 1.5 hours for them to unload the airplane and find the box. The tracking number shows it was "delivered" at 7:34 PM that evening …. Because I pulled strings and went to pick it up at the Fedex terminal at the airport….
(when it should have been in my hands at 10:30AM the previous morning) Keeping in mind, I also had to drive 30 minutes to the airport to try to pick this up ... not knowing whether they would release it to me or not. Pulling strings through my Fedex driver. Priority Overnight means it will be delivered by 10:30AM ...
I did NOT receive it by 10:30am. I picked it up at 7:34PM I had to call in to your company to make sure it shipped that same day... I had to drive 30 min to airport at 6pm ..... wait 1.5 hours ....and picked it up myself at 7:34PM.
I requested a refund on the overnight shipping, and they not only repeatedly ignored my email, they told me it was not their problem.
So here’s your problem. Take a 1 star review for shitty service.
